Going to the zoo when you were a kid was awesome! You get to see animals from all the world, you got to see real life versions of the characters from Lion King. Then you grow up. Going to the zoo now is sad. I feel so sad for the animals, they look so sad, so captive. I have to imagine this little monkey is thinking to himself-"great, it's Saturday, gonna be a lot of a-holes today, pointing and heckling." It makes me sad to see these animals, and I can see sadness in them as well. The zoo is depressing, I hope the next topic is fun.

A BOAT
When you live in Mt.P it is a little hard to find BOATS, but I had a brillant idea to go to Bay City. I had never been there, and Erica was in town. It was to be an adventure. I figured Bay City had to be like Saugatuck or similar-Bay City, it had to have at least a Bay. So we hopped in the car, and headed east. I figured we would hit the lake eventually...Not so much, I was actually at one point wondering "it's a great lake, we should be able to find it." We had to turn around and followed the map and we found water. Bay City has a beautiful channel, but no boats on the day we need to find a boat. We ate lunch and looked around, took some photos of eachother and then we saw a boat, a big BOAT. So here is my photo of a BOAT.

My Future Husband, The love of my Life
Dear Adam,
That night in October of 2009 I never dreamed that I would be sitting here today writing you a letter in our blog. I love you with all of my heart and cannot begin to express my thankfulness to God, that He brought us together. You are the one man who can make me laugh in times when I just feel like crying. I love that you love me for everything I am, faults included. I love that you have a passion for what you do and pour everything into what you love. You make me feel beautiful even when I don't think I am. You have a joy for life that is contagious. I love that you don't sweat the small stuff and can keep a level head in the heat of a moment. I love that you love me and that we are going to start a life together that will continue into old age. I am blessed to have you in my life and be a part of your life.
I love you with all of my heart.

Below are some of my favorite weekend photos of Adam. I feel they capture the true essence of Adam.

Point of View
This weeks topic was "A Boat". I love Adam very much, but for all the crap I get for the topics I have put in the hat, this ranks right up there with "really?" So Sunday morning while I was getting ready Adam made an executive decision that we would go to Bay City. Sounds good to me! Well...it wasn't really a boat day, so the boat pictures were pretty limited, and on top of that, it was very difficult finding the Lake. But after about 2 hours of driving, we ended up in downtown Bay City and found a few boat options. Here is probably my favorite.

My favorite Subject
So it's not a BOAT, it's the women I am going to marry. I can't wait for the day that I can wake up next to her. I love being with her, I love her passion, her heart, the way she sings with such joy, and I just love her. I love taking pictures of her, she will always pose for me. We went to Bay City this past weekend in search of BOATS. We don't have much to say about Bay City, other then it had awesome alleys to photograph in. Enjoy the photos of "My Favorite Subject"..my bride.
